Here's what to Expect
This rewarding opportunity to be mentored is available to women who have completed the Somatic Ecopsychology Apprenticeship Program or have completed similar training. You can choose to join me as an apprentice on any of the programs I lead.
During our time together, I will support you in stepping into your leadership. I will talk with you before the program to identify your intentions. Together we will determine what skills you want to learn and practice, as well as weave in any talents who already have. For instance women have brought in their knowledge of Expressive Arts and Conscious Dance into my programs. After the program, I’ll give you feedback and suggestions for next steps on your path with this work. I want to support you to give your gifts and shine!

“It was so nourishing to be supported by both Amy, as the guide, and Michelle, as her assistant guide, I felt very held all weekend as their mentee. Showing up as an apprentice, I was able to have one foot in the collective space holding process of the participants, and another foot in my personal process. It felt great to see that my support was valued by my mentors and the participants. I jumped in to be of service, coming up against my edges, and that felt good. A gentle push from Amy to step out of my comfort zone and offer some of my movement practices and mirroring during council was exactly what I needed. I was so appreciative of the solo time I had on the land, and the mirroring and space holding I received from Amy and Michelle during my personal process. I got a taste of what holding a retreat is all about, without holding the responsibility on my shoulders. It was a beautiful balance of doing, as a guide in service of others, and being, being with myself and my needs as they shifted moment to moment. Having recently left a toxic relationship, this retreat in the company of women, came at a perfect time to reconnect with myself, and gain an embodied sense of what it feels like to return home to myself. In being of service to the participants, I was reminded that I do have something to offer, even when my thinking mind is contradicting it. The following programs are available for apprenticing. There is a fee to apprentice which includes having my guidance before, during and after the program to support you in developing your leadership skills. Fee also includes meals for the retreat and circle.
